Camp's
Corner
As we get ready to depart for Illinois this Thanksgiving,
I would like to take the time to thank God for the
blessing of serving Him by serving you at Waynesburg Christian Church these last seven years.
It was right around now in 2000 that Harry Prater,
as chairman of the pulpit committee, began your
contact with us in the Camp household in Okmulgee,
Oklahoma. Now 138 additions to the Lord’s family at WCC later, God continues to want us to grow His family in the rest of 2007 and throughout the coming year of 2008. From the beginning attendance of 154 on
January 7, 2001 to the 181 present on Veterans day,
November 11, 2007 and every other
Sunday in between your spiritual growth has been my
continual aim and utmost desire.
For the many the Lord has been able to touch through me, I am deeply appreciative of the opportunity you have given me to serve you. It is all I have ever wanted to do since my arrival. My door is always open to all of you. I want you to feel free to tell me your concerns. There are times I may not be able to grant your desires in their entirety, yet I want you to know I will do my best to serve the needs that you have, while being true to what I am being led to do by the Lord.
We thank you for the love and acceptance you have shown us these past seven years. I ask for your
forgiveness for the many sins I have committed against you and would like nothing better than to be
reconciled to all of you. As we start over, together,
I want you to know I will be there when you need me and I will be available, as I have always been.
Accidents, illnesses and other tragedies happen at all hours of the day; and if you want me there, all you need to do is call and let me know; 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days out of the year.
I love you all from the bottom of my heart and will do my best to serve you as long as I am here.
