We held our April meeting on the 24th at the church with a pitch-in. We had 28 present, and had a delicious meal. After eating, we viewed pictures on the power point screen of last year's activities and we had a "virtual guided tour" of the town of Alert. Thanks to Calvin Emberton for organizing our pictures on a disc and also for coming to our meeting to show them to us, and thanks to Marilyn for the trip down
memory lane.
Our May meeting will be held on May 29th. We'll meet at the church at 10:45 a.m. for
devotions and prayer, and then go to the Clifty Falls Inn at the state park near Madison. We've been there before and it is a beautiful setting for lunch and a short walk to the water falls. I will need to make reservations for this luncheon so please let me know if you can go with us. us. Several in our group were not able to go with us last fall on this outing, so we decided that spring would also be a beautiful time to go back. We hope to see you on the 29th.
